Bluehost.com – For website development, I knew I wanted to use WordPress, but who would I choose to host my site? The Bluehost name kept popping up on different travel blogs, so Bluehost is what I chose. Bluehost is user-friendly and they have a good support team.

What I love about Bluehost:
– 24-hour support
– A 30-day money-back guarantee
– A free domain name for the first year
– Availability of marketing and design services
– WordPress installs and updates automatically
– A free SSL security certificate (security is always a good thing)

The plans:
For the low cost of $2.95 a month for the BASIC plan, you can create your website. You can also opt for the 12-month or 24-month plan for a few dollars more. You might want to start out with one year or jump right into a 36-month plan. Choose whatever plan works for you. Bluehost also offers a CHOICE and a CHOICE PLUS Plan with added features. For the beginner, though, the BASIC plan is enough!
 PODCASTS

Podcasts are my go-to on long walks, and during COVID I took a lot of those. I prefer business and investing podcasts, with a special love for ones revolving around side gigs. Blame my dad for passing on his entrepreneurial spirit!

The Side Hustle Show with Nick Loper is “a top-rated podcast featuring the ideas, actions, and results you need to start and grow a successful business.” For me, the SHS is my go-to companion on long walks, while I’m cooking, or just driving around. Nick has been podcasting since 2013, so there is a lot of great material available. He has a website and a YouTube channel dedicated to the SHS, but his podcast is my fav. Nick’s knowledgeable yet humble attitude provides a natural business coach that everyone wants.

Smart Passive Income by Pat Flynn. With a huge following from his blog, podcast, books, courses, YouTube channel, and multiple businesses, Pat is a rock star in the world of creating and developing smart, passive income. Pat has been blogging and working on income streams since 2008, and he promises to be around for a long time. Pat is the man!

Don’t Keep Your Day Job by Cathy Heller. Cathy’s popular podcast (and book) offers inspiration and motivational tips to find the thing you were meant to do. While Nick is good at the business side, Cathy is the one who will guide you in figuring out what your side hustle should be.
